Woodbridge, June 2, 2023 – Authorities have identified the suspect wanted in connection with the triple murder that took place on May 26 at a residence on Birchdale Ave. in Woodbridge. The shooting incident resulted in the deaths of three men and left another man seriously injured. The suspect, identified as Donald Antonio BARAHONA QUINONEZ, remains at large, and attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful so far.
According to the investigation, a gathering was taking place inside the residence when the suspect began shooting. Two victims died on the day of the incident, while the third victim succumbed to his injuries the following day. The surviving victim is expected to recover fully. The suspect immediately fled the scene after the altercation.
The Police Department is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. A photo of Donald Antonio BARAHONA QUINONEZ, a 28-year-old Hispanic male described as 5’10” and weighing 240 pounds, has been released to aid in his identification.
The suspect is wanted on charges including three counts of murder, one count of aggravated malicious wounding, four counts of using a firearm in commission of a felony, and four counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling.
The deceased victims have been identified as Edwin Geovanny SALMERON, 37; Luis Alonzo SALGADO-RIVAS, 41; and Kevin Josue VALLECILLO MENDOZA, 23, all from Woodbridge.
The investigation into the triple homicide is ongoing, and detectives are actively working to determine the circumstances leading up to the shooting. Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward.
No additional injuries or property damage were reported, and the incident does not appear to be a random act of violence. Further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
The Woodbridge Police Department is appealing to the public for cooperation and assistance in bringing the suspect to justice.
