Fox Lake – Local schools of Fox Lake are placed under lockdown in response to a reported shooting incident. Law enforcement agencies, including the Fox Lake Police Department and Fire Department, have swiftly responded to the scene at 33 W Grand Ave at Dockers.
One victim transported to the hospital, unknown if any other victims are injured. Ongoing incident for about one hour. Authorities are yet to confirm whether there are any other individuals harmed in the incident.
Emergency responders have been on the scene for approximately one hour, working diligently to bring the situation under control and ensure the safety of the community.
Additional law enforcement personnel have been deployed to assist in the ongoing incident.
Local authorities are urging residents to stay indoors and avoid the vicinity of the incident as they work to secure the area.
The lockdown of nearby schools is a precautionary measure aimed at safeguarding students, teachers, and staff.
