KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A 35-year-old died in a shooting Thursday near the Circle K on Lovell Street.
Two men were shot around 11 a.m., according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
Tyrone Jerome Potts, 35, was taken to an area hospital where he later died, police said.
Another victim was shot several times, according to police.
It does not appear to be a random shooting.
Investigators are looking for a vehicle of interest: a white Dodge Journey that fled the scene.
The Journey has a license place 7PJS08.
During the time of the shooting, Kalamazoo College did go under a brief lockdown but is back open, police said.
