Hillsborough deputies involved in shooting in Plant City

PLANT CITY, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is on the scene of a deputy-involved shooting in Plant City on Tuesday morning.

The shooting occurred on a frontage road of I-4.

Sheriff Chad Chronister said no deputies were injured in the shooting. According to HCSO, there is no threat to the public.

Chronister is expected to provide an update on the shooting at 7:45 a.m.
