A car fire caused long delays on the M4. The incident happened on the westbound carriageway near Port Talbot, with delays between junction 41 at Pentyla and junction 40 at Taibach.
Pictures from Traffic Wales showed smoke coming from one vehicle on the stretch of road. One lane was closed as a result, before the incident was cleared.
Pictures showed a crew from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service at the scene. Motorists near to the incident said they were not moving.
